Planned stop #1: Appleton

Bozo has arrived at his first extended stay, Appleton, WI, near the shores of Lake Winnebago.  Only 30 miles from Lambeau Field for all you NW Packers fans. He's gotten closer than most of you will.  BWAAA HAA, HAA!

Not much to report from the trip from Eau Claire to here.  No major rivers of note or geographical features encountered.  We have moved into an area being hit by strings of heavy storms.  They've lost a lot of their power by the time they get here from tornado alley but there's rain, lots of it. 

Travel notes:  On the south side of Eau Claire, WI is a coffee shop, Coffee Grounds.  Interesting place.  Coffee counter, deli, wine, liquor, cooking supplies, gourmet meats (frozen quail, Waygu beef, duck breasts, etc.).  They have an excellent wine selection.  Coffee's pretty good too.  I'd advise checking it out, and if you live in the area you should check them out.
